Djeeta is the female avatar for player characters in the game. She is the captain of the crew that travels aboard the Grandcypher.
Djeeta lived on the island of Zinkenstill in the Phantagrande Skydom. One day, she discovers a letter from her estranged father, instructing her to leave home and fly across the skies to Estalucia, Island of the Astrals. Shortly after this, Djeeta meets Lyria and Katalina who are fleeing from the Erste Empire. She dies after fighting a Hydra commanded by Pommern whilst trying to defend the two from harm.
After Lyria links their souls together to save her life, Djeeta resolves to leave Zinkenstill on a journey alongside Lyria, Vyrn, and Katalina to reach the end of the skies.

- Much like Gran's name, Djeeta's name is derived from the phonetic pronunciation of Granblue Fantasy in Japanese.
- Her birthday is March 10th, the same day Granblue Fantasy was released.[1]
- Whilst the main character remains mute in the game, this is not the case in other media. In the anime, Djeeta is voiced by Hisako Kanemoto in Japanese, Erika Harlacher in English, and Laura Maire in German. The same voice actors, aside of German, also provide Djeeta's voice in Granblue Fantasy Versus.
