Granblue Fantasy The Animation is an upcoming anime adaptation of the role-playing video game developed by Cygames. Episodes 1 and 2 of the Zinkenstill Arc preaired January 21st, 2017, and the anime is scheduled to continue on April 2nd, 2017. A 2nd Season of the Anime has been announced to Premiere in October, 2019.
Renowned Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu is carrying over his music work from the game. The theme song will be performed by BUMP OF CHICKEN.

Synopsis
Katalina, a lieutenant of the Erste Empire, seeks to escape one of their airships with the experimental subject Lyria. An Accident results in them landing on an island, where Lyria is discovered by Gran, a young local who has trained with a sword.
